Snow, snow, go away!!

Well, it's still snowing, and I mean SNOWING.  This last week has been cold and we've been snowed on most every day.  I guess I shouldn't really be surprised, afterall, it is January and it is Canada, Northern Ontario in fact, so it's pretty normal, but it doesn't mean that I have to like it.  I've been in Canada for almost 45 years so I should be used to it by now!!!  I'll try not to complain about it any more.

As I do not drive, I haven't been able to get out to find any wonderful thrift items which I can restore, instead I have only been able to turn out small items, just like a factory, which I have for sale in my Boutique.  I'm constantly looking on Pinterest and/or Google for new ideas to turn my limited supplies into artwork.  Anyway, enough said.  I'm just going to show you what I have made since I last posted.

I have enjoyed using burlap lately and quite a few of my new creations are based on my new-found treasure.  I was surprised just how many colours are available.

Wow, it's never ending, LOL.......

So, that's all using the burlap, and two small painted key racks with a New York theme....

And that's just about it for the past couple of weeks.  Hopefully by the next time I post, the weather will be a tad warmer and I will be able to get out and about and find some new items to re-purpose.

As usual, a few photos of my darling little grandkids.  That's another reason why I am waiting for the weather to warm up so that I can go out of town to visit them.  Ooooh, I love these little sweethearts.

Until next time, take good care of yourselves and stay healthy.

Where did Christmas go?

All that preparation, excitement, anticipation and then in a twinkling of an eye, it is all over.  I hope everyone enjoyed their celebrations with their loved ones.

Now it's back to normal and back to my artsy-fartsy world, LOL.  These are the things I have been making since my last posting.....

With winter being so horrible and me not being able to walk to the mall or thrift stores all I have been able to do is make stuff, LOL

Pretty yucky eh?

I made another small button picture....

Then I painted some dandelion pictures.......

I enjoyed painting those so much that I had to make up a few "dandelion" boxes too, to go with them......

I have lots more that I made but I will leave them until my next post - don't want to bore you all to death, LOL

I bought another little primitive lady to add to my collection....

Well, that's just about it for now, so I will end with a couple of photos of my little darling grandkids, as usual....

So my friends, Happy New Year.  I hope it will be a wonderful year for you, good health and much happiness to you.

HUGS,
